Yellow paper

Interesting illustrated book by Editorial Bestia Negra. The challenge was to combine a typography that would accompany the classic flavor of the story with the geometric illustrations of Maria Picasso. In the end I opted to use a Caslon for the text and the Futura for titles and folios. In the lettering of the cover I worked with the Futura “falseing” it when necessary, as with the thickness of some poles to match the design elements of the illustration.
