Cristina Durán

The author Cristina Durán commissioned me a typography based on her handwriting, but in this case, her handwriting had an important particularity. It wasn’t a handwriting, it was drawn. Based on his drawings I was building the typography but always trying to maintain a style “drawn”, which did not end up looking like a typical typography. I also corrected some things in his drawings to make them work better, such as the structure of some upper and lower case letters in general. The lower case lacked something to work properly with his “big sisters” and until we hit the key, it cost us a very great deal of time.
