Valerosas. (Spanish version of Culottées)

Culottées is a Pénélope Bagieu’s webcomic on Le monde’s website. There she told the stories of different women who went beyond what the society of their time had reserved for them. These stories were compiled in two volumes in France and Dibbuks published them in Spanish as Valerosas.

The author played with the immediacy of the web to make a comic book with a quick look, almost sketches, and that was also noticeable in the lettering that was very loose. For this reason I made a typography to letter these stories in Spanish and make the final result as faithful as possible to the original.
